Atlanta English School in Nagoya (アトランタ英会話スクール）is looking for people to teach English as a Foreign Language (EFL) and to join our team in Japan.
Our teachers work mainly out of one small school in Nagoya, which is the 3rd largest metropolitan area (Chubu) in Japan, located between Osaka/Kobe/Kyoto (Kansai) and Tokyo (Kanto). Our school is conveniently located to the Nagoya city centre, about 20 minutes away by subway.
When our students choose us, they do so with the belief that our team of professionals will give them the best lesson around. Our awesome teachers teach both children and adults. Most of the kids are studying an American curriculum that is world-recognized. Our talented teachers also teach a wide range of lessons to adults, too. Business, travel, conversation, TOEIC, to name a few. Our classes are mostly small, from one to five students, however we also have some teachers working at public schools and universities teaching much larger classes.

・ you are a native speaker of English, which means English is your first language
・ you have at least a 4-year university (BA/BS/BFA) degree
・ you would like to live and work in Japan (Japanese language skills are not necessary)
・ you are able to commit for at least one year
・ you are detail-oriented and care about the English language
・ you love teaching, or you love helping others and would like to try your hand at teaching
・ you are willing to teach all ages
・ you are responsible, reliable, and a team player
・ you are creative and are willing to learn new things
・ you are a good communicator and listener
The important stuff ...
・ One-year contract, renewable yearly
・ Work 40 hours per week (29 hours of teaching time)
・ Work five days per week, two days off
・ Includes 5 weeks paid vacation + 1 additional non-teaching week with employee trip
・ Competitive base salary from ￥2.8~3.2 million per year to start
・ Yearly salary increases and year-end profit sharing
